1. Data controller

2. What we collect

We collect the data you provide to make a booking: full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, hotel or accommodation, party size, special requests, and dietary preferences if provided. We may collect IP address and basic browser metadata for analytics and abuse prevention.

3. How we use it

  • · To send confirmation, reminders, and post-trip thanks
  • · To meet legal and accounting obligations under Seychelles law
  • · To improve our service through aggregated analytics

4. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of (a) the performance of the charter contract you enter into with us, (b) your consent for marketing communications, and (c) our legitimate interest in keeping our service safe and improving it.

5. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

  • · Our payment processors (Skrill / Verifone, PayPal) to handle transactions
  • · Email and SMS providers (Resend, Twilio) for transactional notifications
  • · Our cloud infrastructure (OVHcloud, Vercel) for hosting
  • · Tax authorities and regulators where required by law

We never sell personal data. We never share it with third-party marketing platforms.

6. Retention

Booking records are kept for the duration required by Seychelles tax and accounting regulations (currently 7 years). Marketing consent is kept until withdrawn. Analytics data is retained for 26 months.

7. International transfers

Some of our processors are located outside the Seychelles (notably in the European Union and the United States). When data is transferred, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the destination jurisdiction.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to reservation@propulse-boat.com. We respond within 30 days.

EU residents may also lodge a complaint with their national data protection authority.

9. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies for session management and analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics, privacy-friendly, no third-party tracking). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
